Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri held a meeting with the leadership of International Finance Corporation of the World Bank on Thursday (local time) in Washington DC, USA. India's Ambassador to the US TS Sandhu gave this information by tweeting. TS Sandhu said that a meeting was held on 'climate resilient infrastructure and opportunities' in Indian urban development and energy sectors. 

Indian Ambassador to the US TS Sandhu said in a tweet that "The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri along with the World Bank's International Finance Corporation-led 'Climate Resilient' in urban development and energy sectors. "Infrastructure and Opportunities" Also likely to attend the reception."

Hardeep Singh Puri will co-chair the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (USISCEP) ministerial dialogue with US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in Washington DC on October 7.

He said on Wednesday that the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (USISCEP) ministerial talks will be held in the US on Friday. The dialogue is part of the visit of an official and business delegation led by Puri to Washington DC and Houston from October 6-11.

The revised USISCEP was launched in accordance with the US-India Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 Partnership announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden at the leaders' summit on climate in April 2021. The partnership between the two countries continues to advance energy security and innovation. These include expanding emerging clean energy technologies and deploying technological solutions through five pillars – responsible oil and gas pillars, electricity and energy efficiency pillars, renewable energy pillars, sustainable development pillars, and emerging fuels and technologies.
   
Hardeep Singh Puri will also participate in two executive roundtables with the USA-India Business Council in Washington DC and the USA-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Houston. The minister will also hold discussions with CEOs of US-based energy companies.
