Delighted to interact with fellow ministers from various countries at the Global South Ministerial Energy Roundtable at #IndiaEnergyWeek2024 in Goa.

India remains steadfast in its commitment to leave no one behind in the Global South, where two-thirds of humanity lives, we reinforce the spirit of the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam wherein we all together must attempt to remove inequalities, enlarge opportunities, support growth & spread progress & prosperity. 

Addressing the challenges at hand requires greater collaboration of thought, action & response. 
Under India’s G20 presidency, the Voice of Global South Summit was initiated, bringing together 125 countries on a common platform. India has utilised its G20 presidency to highlight common concerns of energy affordability, availability & sustainability.

Today, as the world, particularly the Global South, grapples with the impact of climate change, there are also great opportunities. India has taken a pragmatic & astute middle path that underscores its commitment to mitigating climate change while supporting national interests & meeting India’s energy demand in our journey towards energy self-sufficiency & green energy transition under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi Ji.
