Delighted to join bright young students of Delhi’s Modern School to celebrate India’s 77th Independence Day. Founded in 1920 by Lala Raghubir Singh Ji, this famed educational institution has played a significant role in the evolution of independent India.The lively programme on the theme of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ in the year of India’s G20 Presidency reflected the global vision of young Indians who will be the drivers, beneficiaries & stakeholders of India’s journey through the #AmritKaal Education has always been a key driver of the nation’s progress. In my interaction with the students it was heartening to discover a freshness of approach & keenness to think out of the box to follow in the footsteps of some acclaimed alumni, many of whom are personal friends.
