Had an engaging meeting with  Executive VP of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela & acting Minister of People's Power for Economy, Finance & Foreign Trade HE Delcyrodriguezv on energy cooperation, resolving existing issues & taking the relationship between our two countries forward. Indian companies have invested close to US$ 1 billion in Venezuela . We discussed ways and means of maintaining the longstanding energy partnership & enhancing it for mutual benefit. I fondly recollected my previous visits to Caracas in my long career as an IFS Officer.
