Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the ‘India Energy Week’ 2023 event in Bengaluru. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot and CM Basavaraj Bomai were also present in the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Karnataka today.

Huge potential of energy sector in India: PM Modi

PM Modi said, the energy sector has to play a major role in determining the future of the world in the 21st century. Today, India is one of the strongest voices in developing new energy resources and in the energy transition. Apart from this, PM Modi said, India, moving forward with the determination to become a developed nation, has unprecedented opportunities for the energy sector.

PM Modi said Bengaluru is a city full of energy of technology, talent and innovation. Like me, you will feel the energy of youth here. It is the first major energy event in India’s G20 Presidency calendar. I welcome everyone to the India Energy Week programme. Earlier in the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a twin-cooktop model of a solar cooking system developed by IndianOil at the India Energy Week 2023 event in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
