Interacted with members of the media fraternity at the launch of an updated publication titled, “Transforming Urban Landscape” which showcases India’s unprecedented & unparalleled process of urbanisation under the visionary leadership of PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji. 1.19 crore houses have been sanctioned under PM Modi Ji’s visionary PMAYUrban Scheme to provide pucca homes with modern amenities. More than 1.13 crore houses have been grounded for construction of which, 76.34 lakh have been completed & delivered to the beneficiaries. There has been keen focus on providing state-of-the-art modes of urban connectivity & commute to citizens. 20 cities now have a metro rail network of 862 kms. 10,000 e-buses on PPP model will now be provided to augment city bus services across the country.
