The mayor of Surat got an opportunity to raise the pride of Surat by presenting the development story of the city in the mayor’s conference. It is noteworthy that in this conference, PM Modi also gave some directions to the mayors of 121 BJP-ruled cities across the country.

Ahmedabad (Ahmedabad (Mayor of the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation of the country held at)Mayor ) concluded the two-day National Mayors Conference. More than 121 Mayors and Deputy Mayors from across the country participated in this two-day event. The National Mayors Conference was digitally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 20th September and Prime Minister Modi also expressed optimism that this conference will help create a roadmap for India’s urban development over the next 25 years.

In this two-day program, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were present. On the final day of the programme, Surat Municipal Mayor Hemali Boghavala gave a presentation on Smart, Sustainable and Futuristic Global Surat City: A Mini India on the special functions of Smart City Surat and various projects and future planning.
