Moneycontrol | Delhi Metro's Magenta Line to open on May 29: Here's a preview of the much-awaited route

Magenta line chugs along | The 24.82-kilometre DMRC’s Magenta Line will be formally opened by union minister for housing and urban affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today from the Nehru Enclave Metro station.

Longest stretch under Delhi Metro's Phase 3 project | The stretch between Janakpuri West and Kalkaji Mandir will be the longest stretch to be inaugurated by the Metro at once. This stretch is a part of the 38.2km Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden corridor. The Magenta Line from Janakpuri West-Kalkaji Mandir section, comprises 16 stations. The 24.82 kilometre long section includes interchange facilities at Hauz Khas (with yellow line) and Janakpuri West (With Blue Line) It is part of the Magenta Line from Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden in Noida.
