In my online interaction with members of IMC India at their 115th AGM today, we discussed how India has surged ahead under enlightened leadership of PM Narendra Modi Ji, growing from being 10th to the world’s 5th largest economy despite global turbulence & domestic challenges.Today, we stand as world's 3rd largest energy consumer, reflecting our economy's vibrant energy; & with a quarter of global energy demand growth from 2020 to 2040 projected to originate from India, we are poised to overtake Europe as world's 3rd largest energy consumer by 2030.India is also world’s 3rd largest consumer of oil, & LPG, & World’s 4th largest LNG importer, 4th largest refiner, & 4th largest automobile market. India Growth Story has evoked awe & confidence around the World & is a source of hope & pride for every Indian.Total investment in Urban Rejuvenation has been more than ₹18.07 lakh cr during 2014-2023 as compared to ₹1.78 lakh cr during 2004-14. There is growth across every sector.
