'Other countries Facing Steep Inflation In Comparison To India', says Hardeep Singh Puri

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday said that other countries are facing very steep inflation compared with India currently. 'We can only control prices to some extent and give relief to the citizens, he said. 'Living standard in a lot of other countries other than India has declined due to radical inflation', he added. Minister's reaction came at a time when the people in India are already facing high prices of food and sky-high prices of fuel. He also stated that the economies of other countries are facing the steepest inflation since WW2.
