Petroleum Minister Hardeep S. Puri at Annual Day Celebrations of Petronet LNG Limited

Union Petroleum Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri today on August 6, joined the senior management of various oil & gas sector entities & officers of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India at the Annual Day Celebrations of Petronet LNG Limited, one of the fastest growing world-class Public Limited Company in the Indian energy sector.

While speaking at the annual celebration of Petronet LNG Limited he said, "It has set up India’s first LNG receiving & regasification terminals at Dahej, Gujarat with present capacity of 17.5 MMTPA & in Kochi, Kerala with a capacity of 5 MMTPA."

The company is also exploring suitable opportunities within & outside India to expand its business presence, he further added.

Petronet LNG Ltd is a joint venture company promoted by 4 companies including Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
