Campaigning for the high-profile December 4 Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections will conclude on Friday with prominent campaigners from all parties ranging from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Hardeep Singh Puri to voters. They are holding public meetings and road shows to reach there. Voting for the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections will be held on Sunday, December 4, while the counting of votes will be done on December 7.

Bharatiya Janata Party is organizing 210 programs in Delhi on Friday and senior party leaders Puri, Goel and Anurag Thakur will hold roadshows to attract voters along with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya . Earlier in the day, Kejriwal attacked the party for its heavy-handed election campaign, saying the ruling BJP at the Center had sacked seven chief ministers, one deputy chief minister and 17 Union ministers for attacking "common people" like him. Invited to campaign in the corporation elections. 

On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party has also fielded its star campaigners who are urging the voters to give a resounding mandate to their party in the municipal elections. During the campaign for the municipal elections, there have been frequent clashes between the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. On Friday, Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will hold a townhall meeting with 400 traders and discuss the challenges being faced by them from the MCD. Prior to this meeting, Sisodia (Delhi) will interact with the trainers of the "Delhi Ki Yogshala" program of the government. On the other hand, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai will organize a roadshow in his constituency Babarpur. during the campaign, 

While campaigning in favor of party candidates in different wards ahead of municipal elections, BJP leaders said that if BJP comes to power in the municipal body, their double engine government will ensure all-round development of the capital. The Bharatiya Janata Party has been in power in the Municipal Corporation for the last 15 years and is eyeing a fourth consecutive term. The Aam Aadmi Party, while targeting the BJP over the mismanagement of garbage during the 15-year tenure of the Municipal Corporation, said that the saffron party has given three mountains of garbage to Delhi. 

AAP has also alleged that the BJP has nothing to show during its 15-year tenure in the municipal corporation, hence it is leveling false allegations against the party. AAP has claimed that it will root out the BJP in the municipal elections. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has claimed victory in 200 out of 250 wards of Municipal Corporation. This will be the first municipal corporation election in the national capital Delhi after ward delimitation. BJP and AAP have fielded their candidates in all 250 seats while Congress is contesting in 247 seats.
