Qatar is India’s largest & reliable supplier of LNG & LPG. During FY 2022-23, hydrocarbon trade between India & Qatar was of about US$ 14.8 billion, accounting for 78.8% of overall bilateral trade.

In my bilateral interaction with HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, MoS for Energy Affairs, Dy Chairman and President & CEO​ Qatar Energy, I expressed my appreciation for our continued association & invited Qatar for exploring reciprocal investment opportunities in the E&P sectors of India & Qatar.
