The vision of PM Sh #narendramodi Ji is giving renewed thrust to collaborative efforts & knowledge sharing in the world’s green energy journey. 
Participated in the Special Ministerial Consultations & Recommendations on the Global Biofuels Alliance in Goa today.
This event received strong support from countries within & beyond the G20. 19 countries expressed their interest in being the initiating members of the alliance with 15 Countries & 9 International Organizations attending the event.
True success of Global Biofuels Alliance will depend on moving this project from a project of the governments to the project of the people.
Delighted to hear the informed views of several participating ministers including my friend Secretary Jennifer Granholm who said she looked forward to see the alliance move from “test tube to test drive & field to fuels".
Several countries including Brazil, Italy, Kenya, & UAE highlighted the importance of sharing best practices across policy, technology, & implementation. 
The forum recognized that overcoming challenges such as feedstock management, standards development, & technological innovations requires a collaborative approach & welcomed the initiative by Indian Presidency to move towards creation of the global alliance.
