The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) received appreciation from Union petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri for its contributions in the areas of healthcare and education.
On the sidelines of his two-day tour to the temple city of Tirupati, Hardeep Puri offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday morning.
Later the Union minister visited Sri Padmavathi Children's Super Specialty Hospital which was recently established by the TTD in Tirupati and lauded the temple trust for establishing a state-of-the-art hospital exclusively for the children.
Hardeep Puri also sited the TTD run BIRRD hospital in Tirupati on Tuesday.
