Tripura CM calls on Gadkari

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha called on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways here on Monday.

During his meeting with the Minister, Saha discussed developmental issues related to the state.

"Had a very fruitful meeting with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari

Ji and MoS MoRTH General (Retd) VKSingh Ji at Delhi," the CM wrote in a tweet later.

He further said, "Discussion was held on issues related to development of National Highways and Road Infrastructure in Tripura.'

The CM also met Union Minsiters-- Hardeep Singh Puri and Sarbananda Sonowal.

Saha discussed issues of water supply, sewerage and Housing in urban areas of Tripura with Puri.

Sonowal gave assurances to set up 50 bedded Ayush hospital and 50 Health and wellness centres.

He also assured full cooperation in dredging of the river and development of waterways connectivity with the main land.
