Union minister Hardeep Puri visits Bathinda

BATHINDA: Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Bathinda and held a meeting with district officials.
Puri also planted saplings at AIIMS and met the patients to inquire about their well being. He asked the officials to implement the policies of the central and state governments with honesty.

Doctors and medical staff informed him about certain problems related to trauma centre and accommodation for doctors. Acting on it, Puri called up the Union Health Minister and brought the problems into his notice.
Upon problem faced by people related to the manner of the construction of bridge, Puri called up the Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister and explained him the concerns of the people and urging him to resolve the issue faced by them.
He also chaired the meeting of the Bathinda Loksabha core committee and met doctors, advocates, architects, business community.
He also met the Bhartiya Janta Party leaders and activists. It is learnt that the party eyeing the 2024 parliamentary elections has started its preparations for it. The party has started Lok Sabha parvas yozna (stay scheme) under which various union ministers have been assigned particular lok sabha constituencies where the ministers have been asked to stay for couple of days to look into various aspects.

The ministers have been asked to look for different factors which could be used for the benefit of the party to make its presence felt.
Union ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Meghwal, Sadhvi Nirajan and others have also been asked to visit
Punjab.
