Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib Qila Mubarak

Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing, Urban Affairs, Petroleum and Natural Gas is on a three-day visit to Bathinda from today. On his arrival, he was given a hearty welcome by the district administration, Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare, Senior Police Captain J. Ilanchelian and senior BJP leadership.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri was given a Guard of Honor by the District Police contingent at Lake View Guest House, Bathinda. The Union Minister then paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib Qila Mubarak. On this occasion, the committee of Gurdwara Sahib also honored him with Siri Sahib, Siropao and religious books. Meanwhile, Union Minister S. Puri was also introduced to the history of Sri Gurdwara Qila Sahib.

On the second day of his visit (July 9), Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri will pay a special visit to AIIMS Hospital Bathinda. In the meantime, they would also plant trees here keeping in view the importance of clean environment. After this the Union Minister S. Mr. Puri would also hold a meeting with the district officials at the District Administrative Complex to review the public welfare schemes being run by the Government of India.

He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr. RP Singh, S.P. Tarun Ratan, BJP state general secretaries Dayal Singh Sodhi and Subhash Sharma, state secretaries Sivaraj Chaudhary and Sukhpal Saran, state media in-charge Sunil Singla, district BJP president Binod Binta and others were present.
