Very happy to hand over Letters of Intent to the successful bidders at the 12th & 12th-A CGD Bidding Round today.

The 8 Geographic Areas announced today will cover 103 districts covering 6 North East States Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim & Mizoram & 2 Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

With this Entire Mainland India has now been covered for development of PNG Connections & CNG Stations.

Promotion of natural gas is part of PM Narendra Modi Ji’s vision to increase the share of gas in the India’s energy basket from ~6% to 15% by 2030 & transform India into a Gas-Based Economy with investment opportunity of USD 67 Billion.

The govt under guidance of PM Modi Ji is taking various initiatives to promote natural gas in households as cooking fuel as well as in transport, commercial and industrial sectors.
