Our farmers are more than food providers now - they are powering India’s clean energy future. With PM Narendra Modi ji’s vision, India is turning what was once waste into wealth by producing ethanol from Parali and generating biogas. Between 2014 & August 2024, India’s ethanol and biogas initiatives saved ₹1,06,072 crore in foreign exchange, paid ₹90,059 crore to farmers, substituted 181 Lakh MT of crude oil, and reduced 544 Lakh MT of CO2 emissions. This is not just about energy, it is about supporting the hands that have always fed us. Together, we are building a sustainable future.
